Dragan Klaic 1950 – 2011
This picture by Loes Gompes shows the symbiotic relationship that Dragan could offer to those with whom he wants to share work and leisure, or intellectual debate for the cause of the argument, be it in public events, conferences, university classes, in private at home or in the restaurant or coffeehouse. This time we were on our way to a dinner in Paris in the beginning of the nineties, after an exiting Gulliver meeting on intercultural dialogue organised by Felix Meritis and its Paris’ partner Transeuropéennes.
The professional cooperation with Dragan, be it in Gulliver, the Amsterdam-Maastricht Summer University, the Max Wagener Foundation, Felix Meritis or Transeuropéennes, would not have been as productive as it was without the deep personal friendship we developed over more than twenty years.
